Know-How and Technology
AquaOptima has supplied Recirculation Aquaculture Systems (RAS) since 1993. We deliver complete onshore hatcheries and grow out farms for fresh water and marine species, and cold and warm water species. We use unique know-how and technology to ensure improved water quality, growth and profitability in fish farms.
Based on comprehensive research activities in SINTEF* in the period of 1985-1993, AquaOptima has developed industrial products and its own system for intensive fish farming in tanks and recirculation of water.
*SINTEF is a research institute with ca 2100 employees that performs R&D for the industry in close cooperation with The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim.
